Bell Neighbourhood Safer Place -Installation of a Bushfire Sprinkler/Deluge System
The construction of Bushfire Sprinkler System for Neighbourhood Safer Place at the Rural Fire Service Bell Brigade Station

Port Botany Bulk Liquids Berth
Port Botany is NSW’s primary bulk liquid and gas port, handling 99% of bitumen imports, 98% of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) imports, 90% of bulk chemical imports, 30% of refined petroleum fuels and 15% of NSW’s aviation fuel requirements.
Prime Pumps has been testing, maintaining and repairs critical Fire Protection Infrastructure at the Port Botany Bulk Liquid Berths (BLB #1) and more recently BLB #2, for more than 25yrs.
Prime Pumps has completed a range of work on the site, including and not limited to:
- Ongoing Fire Protection Diesel Pumpset and System Operational Testing and Maintenance
- General Fire Protection System Upgrades and Repairs
- Replacement of all 3 x Diesel Engines on BLB #2 Seawater Fed Fire Protection System
- Specialist Stainless Steel Pipework fabrication and Valve overhauls and replacements
Fire & Rescue NSW Emergency Services Academy
The Fire and Rescue NSW Emergency Services Academy, located in Orchard Hills in Western Sydney.
The Academy is a modern training facility with a state-of-the-art practical learning environment designed to ensure our first responders have the best knowledge and skills to help you in any emergency.
This world-class resource is shared with other emergency services agencies, both locally and globally, to ensure all first responders have access to life-saving hands-on, practical training across a wide range of areas including fire, rescue, natural disasters, hazardous material management, medical response, counter-terrorism and continues to serve as a base for the deployment of multi-agency strike teams.
Prime Pumps and the broader IMEA Engineering Group was selected (via a competitive Govt Tendering Process) to co-design, construct and maintain various Practical Learning Environment (Training Prop’s) and infrastructure.
Prime Pumps “Design and Construct” Project Works included:
- Site Hydrant Ring Mains – Design & Construct – Constant Water Pressure / Flow Triplex Pumpsets – 1.5M/L Water Storage – Designed Flow Rate of >240L/sec
- Training Tower – Various AS2118 Sprinkler System installation

- Installation of Trade-waste Flowmeter / Ongoing Monitoring

- Installation of the Passenger Train Carriage – Powered Towing and Re-Positioning System
- Design and Construction of the Aviation Department Maintenance and Storage Area
